Keeping it simple at launch event
Olly Murs and Will Young were some of the many celebs recently attending the The British Fashion Council (BFC) and Harper’s Bazaar Arts Foundation launch event at Shoreditch House, London. Both boys were keeping it simple & swathe with black casual v-neck tops. The Foundation offers a new initiative that aims to inspire and support collaboration between fashion and the arts.
Romeo Beckham to design own eye wear range
Yep you read it correctly, the Beckham's eldest child, Romeo, is set to design his own line of sunglasses!
According to the Daily Mirror, Romeo has some serious opinions about what's hot and what's not in kids’ fashions and has been pestering parents David and Victoria for a while about designing for the tween age group, despite the fact that Romeo is just eight years old.

The shades will be marketed under the label RB. Victoria Beckham’s fashion line is called DvB. I wonder if Dad, David, will step in and model the finished products?

What to wear today?!?!
Most days I'm lucky enough to know exactly what I want to wear and the look that I want to achieve but that's not to say that I don't sometimes suffer with the fashion followers equivalent to 'writer's block' - where I find myself standing next to my wardrobe in my undies, completely clueless and panicking about being late for work. So if anyone else out there suffers from similar episodes (hopefully I'm not the only vain one) you might take comfort in All Saint's new lookbook which gives you their key looks complete with a breakdown of each outfit.
Sir Philip Green - Top Marks?
British billionaire businessman, Sir Philip Green, owner of Arcadia retail group has helped to transform the Topman/Topshop brand from what was once a second rate clothes retailer catering for 'jack the lad' types - to one of the UK's most successful fashion retailers. In 2009, Green even opened a flagship TopShop store in NY - showing the US how we do things on the high street.
Topman online is a great resource for anything from your plain T staples through to higher end designer gear (although watch out for those stock levels as the nicer items tend to go out of stock fast!) If you're looking for a few key items that are slightly more edgy, take a look at the Topman Ltd section and the Topman Design sections of the site. I've found many key fashion looks on this site before a lot of the other high street stores have even thought about them!
The t-shirt to the left gives an interesting twist on chunky knits with this knitted print tee - at just £16 this will add a point of interest to your wardrobe this coming winter. Available at Topman Ltd
Finally, without harping on about Topman too much, they will be showing at London Fashion Week on 22nd September, which you can watch live at 9.45am

one, two, three...you're on!
Welcome to my first ever blog, which I've chosen to dedicate to a lifelong passion of mine - men's fashion. Once a deprived market for those fashion conscious guys, certainly for those living outside of London, the men's fashion market in the UK finally seems to be providing men with a wide choice of cutting edge fashion both in the high street and online. I salute both H&M and Zara Man for launching online shopping in the UK earlier this month, which adds to the growing list of websites and the growing wardrobes of many British men!
Join me over the coming weeks as I delve into the fashion market, flush out the latest trends and grab the the best fashion bargains. And if you're reading this:- thanks for getting this far.
